When I painted the series this is a part of I wanted to make little reminders you carry the keys to yourself and at least a little measure of power. There are many things you can't control in this world, but no matter how small you feel, you carry at least a little bit of power for yourself. Even if everything around you is chaotic, you can still find calm.
